No more the click-clack of her claws as she came in through a door
No more the beseeching eyes as we prepare our food at night
No more the wagging tail that to all was such a delight<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She bounded into our lives and filled an emptiness full of fun
And made it clear in terms of whose boss, she was the only one
She used her dark brown eyes and wagging tail to get her way
If she decided she wanted something, we really had no say<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We’re going to miss you girl for all those things and oh so many more
And will miss you as we listen out for you scratching at a door
They say your better to have loved than not, right now that is not true
Because right now life feels so sad to consider, our lives without you<\/p>\n\n\n\n
