Our Wedding, A Culinary Experience!

We have just about finalised the venue for our wedding soiree on the Saturday 9th October and have just come from a meeting where we have been working on the menu. Some of the food choices discussed went straight over my head, Anti-pasta which I assume means Italian items that are not pasta? and other things that are pasta.

All joking aside, the menu is beginning to sound good!

What has hit me is that I have just realised that we are arranging an Italian buffet and I had missed that. Sandra seems amused at that and said well the name gives you a clue, to which I responded, what Craig? (the owner’s name) Not very Italian sounding is it. She muttered something or other about something being priceless! and something that rhymed with, “banker”.

What is also beginning to dawn on me is that we have arranged a wide variety of food from different countries as below. I assure you that this was totally unplanned, but man are we going to posture and bang on about it!

Tuesday 5th Hitchcocks in Hull, Spanish veggie food
Thursday 7th – Our Place with the kid’s treats and sugar fest (Sugar from Cuba)
Friday 8th – Our Place cooking chillies and curry – Mexican and Indian in one night
Saturday 9th – Lorenzo’s – Italian buffet
Sunday 10th – Sunday Lunch at the Bistro – English

Whoa – Posh Barstuards!

The piece de la resistance will be the “Blippy” Wedding cake – Don’t ask!
