Begining to Learn

Its beginning to dawn on me what I am involved in here. I have read up on the internet as much as I can and I have to say a big thank you to Marilyn Stowe, of Stowe Family Law for writing and posting information about the FDR process. More importantly it is well written and informative. – Thank you! Other solicitors should note the approach.

It would appear that I have been looking at this from the wrong end. I am angry that having made and acted upon arrangements with my ex wife, no one has tried to establish or question that. Instead they have tried to establish the net worth of both my ex wife and myself. So the facts of who has done what have not even been looked at in order to establish if I have a case to answer yet, or the extent of a case to answer!

This approach strikes me as the cart pulling the horse. I am into anger and distress, a badly damaged future, along with a lot of time and money expended so far. Still no-one has bothered to, or is interested in establishing the facts or if this process needs to go ahead. I would add that I have heard enough of hearing what my betters can or cant do with me and my future. We will see!

Perhaps all involved in this would do well to look at the Marilyn Stowe approach, inform people through facts and advice, not legal bullying! You will normally find that people will offer reasoned responses to that approach, bullying will always get peoples backs up along with an adverse response.

On a humorous note, I am in danger here of actually believing in a solicitor which is in effect arguing against the reason for writing to get me through this. Ahhhggg! there is always one!

I understand her approach, owing to the fact that if I sell a product or a service, BY LAW, I have to give usage instructions and health warnings, be informative. Kind of ironic that I have to do that BY LAW, yet to date the only write up offered to me on divorce proceedings, is from a solicitor who I have not dealt with or paid! Shameful.

I would love to see the judge laying down the law to the solicitors regarding not giving written advice on the proceedings and the pitfalls. – Hell will freeze over before that happens!

Note – Concerned that the judge had a copy of my Questions, not from me. I did not know that I had to send him them. ?????
